And the best way to add to an already surreal day is to go to the Museum of Modern Art, in NY, and be stunned by all the beautiful art that we’ve only seen in art history books. The work was absolutely breathtaking.. adding to the craziness, as Rose so eloquently noticed, you are gradually taken up to the 4th or 5th floor, to see the real celebrities of Modern Art; e.g. Picasso, Matisse, DeKooning, etc, etc. Absolutely amazing. Out of breath and overwhelmed, we sought refuge in a coffee shop and enjoyed nice cakes and tea!
