My Dad Steve always tells me this, to not let the bastards get me down. Hey, look at me, I’m at the statue of liberty, and not only have the bastards NOT got me down (as evidenced by the coy smile.) Whenever any of my friends have problems, I just tell them, “hey! don’t let the bastards get you down!”
Anyways, I have been working on my portfolio every day, I should scan some of those drawings and show you’s! I have also finished knitting a scarf and have started another. Hey, I know it’s freaking 85 degrees here in Santa Barbara, but I can pretend that I might wear one someday, or somewhere, in a real winter climate. You never know!
I am going to Portland on Friday for a week, and I will see family and friends, including Dad, and I am intent on finding out just ‘who’ the bastards are… I never asked, because I kind of like the idea of just lumping every jerk and every jerk-type-thing into the ‘bastard’ catagory. If you’re having a bad day, don’t worry, and most of all “Don’t let those bastards get you down!”

That picture is so cool, I think I will have to print it for my shrine!!!You are so cute!!!!(and if you knit me a scarf I will add that to the shrine also with the brown bunny that you made when you were 7) Bob keeps asking me why I have it out but then again he knows!!!!!

sarah! i am not sure if you remember me, but i am rose’s friend from east boston! we met in nyc with my english workmates. we annoyed the hell out of eachother! who am i? so! you know southies own shazo?? joseph “i am an irish cali transplant” shea? well, good for you! either he was in the sun too long or he is polishing off the bottle again! anyway, joe is the man and i love him like a brother!
