Another Day in Paradise

There is actually one tree in bloom in Central Park, that I have seen with my own eyes. Granted, the park is huge, I’m sure there are other things in bloom other places, but here’s my evidence.
YSL is going great. I’m busy, I’ve been working on the floor the past 3 days, and I’m feeling it! I do kindof wish I was making commission, because I’ve sold over $4000 worth of merchandise, all the while meeting some interesting clients from all over the world. I’ve had my make-up done a few times at the beauty counter, and yes, Sue, I’ve tried on my share of shoes!! I’ve held each and every bag that I would ever desire. I’ve stayed out of Ready-to-wear, I’m afraid I’ll like something and have to sell a kidney to buy it. Anyway, I’m enjoying wearing my “safari” suit jacket and pants, but I had to buy myself some flats because… honey, the store-issued pumps were just to hard on these size 8 tootsies of mine. I work with the most hilarious people. A lady from Brazil, a girl from Ecuador, a guy from Panama, another guy from Cuba, 2 Philipinos, a few Dominicans, and on and on. I’m keeping up with my spanish, and learning some new slang and figuring out all the different accents. Some of my co-workers are straight-up Ny’ers (till the end!) some from all-over the US. They are all very cool and funny. Interesting people with interesting lives and lots of energy to make me laugh at almost any and all moments of the day. Really, I can’t complain, even if my feet are complaining! The weather has been in the 50’s these past few days… so amazingly great to be out without a huge down parka on!!
