Can you believe it’s 2006 people?? Crazy! I rang in the New Year loading up on sweets and watching the fireworks with friends and of course toasting with champagne at midnight… it was a very low-key event, unlike what will promise to be not really a low-key new year. The new year will bring major change for me; a new job in a new state in a new region in a new industry. A new place to live, new friends, new adventures, new lessons and challenges, new trials and turbulations, new awakenings, and an all-over new way of life! I guess sometimes the only way to experience transition, is on every single freaking-level, right? Here we go! Tuesday I start a temporary job at Yves St. Laurent on Madison Avenue as a selling assistant. And although this is not my end-goal, I am adaptable and I have what it takes to do whatever I need to do, in order to achieve what I want… Wishing you all a happy healthy and prosperous new years, may we all achieve our wildest dreams in the (Chinese) year of the Dog!
